Proceed With Caution When Assessing Someone Using Social Media

There are many different new tools that allow an employer to try to measure someone’s personality using a job candidate’s social media accounts.

Cool stuff. But how accurate is it? And does it correlate to job performance?

I explore that in the podcast below with Shawn Bergman, a professor at Appalachian State University.

Dr. Handler holds a M.S. and Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Louisiana State University.
