This Is One Onboarding Experience That’s Tough to Replicate

From the best-practices-you-can’t-easily-try-at-home department comes a Canadian company that surprised a new employee in front of a few people. Actually, 80,000 of them.

Ubisoft is in its tenth anniversary year, based in Quebec City. One of its employees referred a guy named Nate LaMartina to an assistant art director job. LaMartina, who was based in Edmonton, took the job.

After taking the job but before starting work, LaMartina visited Quebec City, spending a couple of wild days that included riding a helicopter, a limo, skydiving, as well as, well — see the video below.
