William C. Yoh Named Chairman of the American Staffing Association

Today at Staffing World 2010 in Las Vegas, NV, William C. Yoh, Chairman of Yoh, a provider of talent and outsourcing services, and Chief Customer Officer of Day & Zimmermann, a nationally recognized provider of industrial, defense, and workforce solutions for government and commercial customers, was named Chairman of the American Staffing Association’s (ASA) Board of Directors.

“ASA represents more than 85 percent of the $61 billion U.S. staffing industry, so I am very honored to have been elected by my peers as Chairman,” says Mr. Yoh. “With the continued recovery of our industry, along with significant changes in healthcare reform, employment law, and customer buying trends, the coming year will be one of many challenges and many opportunities. I look forward to working with my colleagues at the ASA to ensure that our members are kept up to date on the most important issues facing them as we work together to rebuild the American workforce.”

In 2009, Mr. Yoh became Chairman of Yoh and Chief Customer Officer of Day & Zimmermann. Prior to this position, he was president and CEO for Yoh. Mr. Yoh began his career at CSC Index and subsequently joined Day & Zimmermann/Yoh where he has held a number of positions both in business unit operations and corporate leadership.

He holds a B.A. from Duke University, and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. As a member of ASA’s Executive Committee, Mr. Yoh has served as Secretary and Treasurer and has also earned both a Certified Staffing Professional and Technical Services Certified designation.
