‘Runners-up’ to Mars Mission Can Work in Lumber

You remember 84 Lumber. It put together that Super Bowl commercial, which if nothing else, increased awareness of the company.

It’s back, offering up an offbeat 30-second spot that Adweek says will run starting today on Fox, ESPN, ESPN Deportes, ESPN2 and ESPNU. It’ll also run online through “programmatic” advertising, and will be featured on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.

“The Super Bowl was the launchpad for 84 Lumber’s 2017 recruitment campaign,” Meredith Klein, of the ad agency Brunner, tells me. “With this commercial, 84 Lumber is putting out a strong call-to-action for potential employees to apply for roles throughout the organization.”
