Have you seen Jobing.com’s new look? The sites, which are localized by geography, but share the same look and feel, were relaunched at the start of the year and bear a “Beta” label across the upper left.
Former Jobing look New Jobing.com look

The prominent Jobing.com logo has been downsized, the navigation has been reworked to give emphasis to the job seeker resources, some new features have been added, and the streamlined look has been carried through the entire site.

The two versions are shown here; the new version has the word “beta” in the upper left and the old version does not.

The new features are aimed squarely at the job seeker, who now can create a resume on the site, post it to a unique address (for instance: Losangeles.jobing.com/candidate name), and export the resume as a Word doc, PDF, web page, or text. There’s even a library of design styles and themes. If it works, this is a pretty slick feature. Having converted more than one resume over the years to a web page, I can tell you that it takes time and some HTML chops to get it right.
