What are we going to do to make sure we have only the best people working for us?
Why should great people want to join our organization?
Are we doing the things we need to do to have an engaged, productive workforce?
What can we do to ensure we don’t put up with employees whose performance is merely mediocre?
Are we taking a proactive approach to finding and retaining great employees? (and, How many people are we going to hire next year?)
Have we identified our most important people and done what needs to be done to keep them onboard? What are we going to do to make sure they get the recognition they deserve?
Because people join companies, but leave managers, what can we do to help our managers better retain our best people?
Are we doing “retention interviews” so we don’t have to do exit interviews?
Are we looking at very single job and asking: “Why are we doing this job this way, can we do this job differently, or should we be doing this job at all?”
