Stop ‘Shopping Hungry’ When Hiring

Earlier, we said you should just “hire them and stop trying to find something better.”

Well, now I’ve got a guest (below) who says to stop “shopping hungry.”

That’s one way of saying that needing to fill a seat, says Kevin Castle, is not enough evidence to warrant making a hire.

Castle, managing partner and co-founder of Technossus, talks about avoiding “shopping hungry” in the 20-minute conversation below. He also goes over how to avoid this pitfall and a cure for hungry shopping — rushed hiring.
