To Build Their Talent Pipelines and Employment Brands, Companies Are Hosting Local Events

Career fairs are often low on the lists of the most prolific sources of hire, behind things like employee referrals, job boards, colleges, career websites, and social media. But a variation on the career fair is the local event, put on by a company’s recruiting department, to build its name recognition and reputation in the local community.
