No hire is better than an imperfect hire, right? I mean, the cost of hiring no one can’t be as much as the cost of hiring the wrong person, right?

Wrong, says Mitch Balzer. Balzer says time kills deals, and it’s better to make the hire than waiting for something better to come along.
