What Amazon’s Success and Recruiting Have in Common

Virtuous cycles underpin some of the most successful businesses in the world, from Amazon to top venture capital funds  For example, Amazon has super low prices, which allows them to gain customers.  Customers lead to volume. Volume means Amazon can pressure their suppliers to lower their prices, which leads to more customers, and so on!

This concept creates a self perpetuating flywheel that reinforces success with more success.  Wouldn’t it be great if your efforts were magnified 10x in one of these cycles?

Well, this same concept is also the key to the best recruiting organizations’ success.  Great cultures lead to strong employer brands which lead to more applicants, better hires, and an even better culture.  Pretty cool, right?
