In the U.S., the EEOC is out with a new explanation of the rights of job applicants and employees who have HIV infection.
The website pages are geared to the job applicant, though the information’s worth a look for the recruiter or employer as well (in 2014, applicants and employees won more than $825,000 in HIV cases resolved with the EEOC).
The first document covers possible accommodations; privacy; employer obligations, and more. There’s also a page meant for doctors.
