Philips North America is trying to go where few organizations have gone. Its talent-acquisition and talent-management leaders are working with business leaders to rethink the way talent is brought on.
Take, for example, a situation where the company is first thinking that it needs 20 developers in San Francisco. Philips, a health-technology giant, wants to reconsider the makeup of those 20. Could 10 be remote? Could all of them be remote? Could some be full time, and others on a contract basis?
Asal Naraghi, senior manager, talent acquisition, Philips North America, talks about it in the video below, about seven minutes.
