What is the ERE Network?
There's nothing revolutionary about the ERE Network. Simply put, the ERE Network is just a new way to find and network with recruiting professionals who have always been part of the Electronic Recruiting Exchange but who have previously never been visible. The ERE Network is not a candidate networking forum. It is an online community comprised entirely of professionals who are part of the recruiting industry — be they corporate recruiters, HR professionals, staffing agency recruiters, consultants, or other recruiting service providers. Most importantly, it's an opportunity for you to start forging the professional networking relationships that will help you do your job better — whether it's advancing your own career, learning and sharing best practices, or meeting recruiting service providers within the context of a trusted network. How does it work? Every member of the Electronic Recruiting Exchange now has the option of publicly displaying a "profile" of themselves and their professional life [click here to update your own profile]. Your profile is the place to share with the rest of the recruiting community your interests, professional experience, and organizational challenges. Your profile is where you define who you are, and will become the starting point for the networking relationships you eventually develop. The next step is adding ERE members to your own personal network in order to maximize your networking potential. The more members you have in your network, and the more members they have in theirs, the more you can take advantage of trusted professional relationships to help advance your own career and your organization's goals. The best part is, your privacy is 100% protected. Though other members can contact you via email, your email address and other contact information is never revealed. And if you don't want anyone to contact you ever, you can always disable your contact settings. Look for additional features in the coming months that will make the ERE Network even more productive for you, including testimonials, advanced email features, bulletin boards, special interest networking groups and more! How do I join the ERE Network? If you're already a subscriber to the Electronic Recruiting Exchange, then in a sense you're already a "member" of the ERE Network. All you need to do to take advantage of being a member is change your settings to give us permission to list your profile. Once you do that, you'll be able to view the profiles of other members and they'll be able to view yours. How do I find other members of the ERE Network? By using the member search feature, you can find any member of the Electronic Recruiting Exchange and view the profiles of members who have elected to make them visible. You can also browse the personal networks of ERE network members to see profiles of their friends, colleagues and peers. Comments, Questions and Suggestions The ERE Network is nothing more than an extended version of the online community that already exists as part of the Electronic Recruiting Exchange.
