SourceCon tomorrow

posted by
David Manaster (212)

After returning to New York today on what was one of the worst flying experiences I have ever had - Virgin America really needs to work out the kinks in their new airline - I will be heading to Atlanta tomorrow to check out SourceCon.

I was never a fan of their "Who is behind SourceCon ?" word of mouth campaign.  I believe that if someone has to go to their boss to justify spending a thousand dollars on a conference, they need to be able to tell them where the money is going.

On the other hand, their speaker list is a who's who of sourcing, and their sourcing contests were brilliant marketing, so I am looking forward to seeing the show!

Due to the Rosh Hashanah holiday, I'll only be able to stay for the evening of the 11th and morning of the 12th, but if you will be at SourceCon and want to get together for a drink, drop me a line.
