About

Company History

It began with a personal mission: Create networking and learning opportunities for recruiters

In January 1998, ERE founder David Manaster was working for TMP Worldwide — now Monster Worldwide — and he saw the need for a valuable online community where he could share best practices, network, and learn about the latest trends in the recruiting industry.

Rather than wait for that community to take shape, David created it himself — and so ERE was born. What began as a discussion forum with a few hundred people has since flourished into the premier online community for recruiters, with more than 95,000 unique visitors per month.
