Indeed Bought By Japanese Company

Recruit, a Japanese company, has bought Indeed.

Indeed is a leading source of external hires, and has moved from more of a job search engine to more of a job board over the years.

Recruit has about 6,000 employees, handling a variety of staffing services, but also properties in the travel, fashion, bridal, and other businesses.

    Joel Cheesman got me really excited about the an Indeed buyout last night.

    The early news was that LinkedIn buying Indeed. Then the Recruit buyout was announced.

    I got so excited about the potential LinkedIn acquisition that I wrote this blog post. I thought it was still worth publishing.
