Mercer Again Tops HR Consultant Rankings

Like last year, Mercer is No. 1 in the rankings of the top human resources consultant firms.

That’s the word at least from Vault, which surveyed consultants as to who they thought the three best firms were — excluding their own.

The 2013 rankings, as they’re called, go like this:

  1. Mercer
  2. Towers Watson
  3. Aon Hewitt
  4. Hay Group
  5. Deloitte Consulting LLP
  6. Oliver Wyman
  7. McKinsey & Company
  8. Accenture
  9. Huron Consulting Group
  10. Boston Consulting Group

Last year’s rankings were very similar, with Accenture just a smidgen higher last year, and Oliver Wyman not listed.

The Vault study also has rankings for the best consulting firms to work for; the most prestigious; the best law firms to work for; and all sorts of other breakdowns.

Hmmm. Makes me think of the survey which asked students or academics which university had the best departments in various areas. Harvard came on top, even in areas where they didn’t even have that department….

    Cheers,
