Ok video is another arrow for the recruiting quiver but how is this different from the dozens of career sites that integrate video via YouTube/Yahoo/GoogleVideo/etc? Seems every month a new 'pioneering video' hosting site comes and goes.

No need to reinvent the wheel. Just go with a free mainstream service to post your video. Then market the hell out of it.

CareerTV (www.careertv.com)pioneered the recruiting video concept and now have the biggest cadre of clients in this arena.

They've been around since August 2007, and function in two ways: as a streaming video TV show and a program shown on over 300 college campuses. CareerTV.com is the most visited career video web site in the world, receiving over 1 million unique visitors per month.

It's a true entrepreneurial operation based in Philadelphia, with their little studio located on top of a building in mid-town right on Walnut Street. Back in 2007, executive producer Sean O'Grady would drive from campus to campus around the country offering the TV show to college stations, while shooting recruiting videos at some pretty big companies.

Now it's a full blown business owned by Universum. The companies who have partnered with CareerTV for recruiting videos are huge and blue chip, from Accenture, aflac, AMD, Apple, to Verizon, Viacom, Virgin, Walt Disney, Whirlpool Corporation, and Yahoo!
