Unofficial Hiring Freeze at Google?

The Google recruiting machine is apparently shifting into a lower gear.

Google “has essentially stopped hiring” for about one month, according to CNBC. It also is apparently filling vacancies internally, CNBC’s David Faber says. The video of Faber’s report is online.
