When I started the article, I was ready to reject it right away because you wrote &quot;For most recruiters the make or break moment comes at the end of the process, when it’s time to negotiate the offer.&quot; 

I disagree with that assertion; I think most recruiters are working throughout the process on various closing points.  To think otherwise is to think that most recruiters are not good at their jobs, and thats clearly not true.    

OTH, explicitly wargaming the other side is well known to improve outcomes.</description>
