		<description>Great article Leslie.
Very thorough coverage of one of Corporate America's largest PR challenges! Like Kristen Weirick I worked for a F100 Company who is VERY focused on Customer Service and recognizes that candidates are customers. Wachovia re-engineered the candidate experience to better mirror the customer experience this year. (Wachovia is #1 in Customer Service for banking 7 years in a row!).

Truth is, corporations only hire about 2-3% of the candidates they attract so the overwhelming majority of candidates will not be successful in their application to our companies.
We need to not only treat them well during the process (updating, providing timely feedback etc.) but also need to treat them better at the conclusion of their process. As Kristen referenced above; leave them with the same warm feeling toward our brand that they had when they applied. Offering them a warm decline is a surprise sure to create brand loyalty as customer and candidate!

Look forward to more on this subject Leslie!

<description>Leslie brings out some great points in this article! It's experiences like these that led me to create my video titled "The Sales Marriage" which teaches companies how to hire the right sales people. I think you will find it educational and entertaining.
