Doug, this is the tool that I use to create http://www.internetinc.com/top-100-job-board-niches just before Google started publishing actual numbers... it is very interesting to see that big 124 million number. I wonder if any other industry has a longer 'long tail' in search? I see real estate is also at 124 million.

Seems like Florida is a "hot" search too. Florida jobs 2.7 million searches.

If Google "only" has 60 percent of the market and we presume that keywords are searched at the a similar rate across other search engines, then "jobs" is searched on average over 206 million times each month and in June it was searched over 170 million times!!! (To do this yourself just divide any of the Google numbers by .6.)
