Back to the basics, but honestly I wish you wouldnt have printed it. As a former Army Recruiter we were taught the "Tom Hopkins" Method of recruiting and now that I have been recruiting in the Medical Field for over 4 years, (I left Army recruiting about 5 years ago) I still use it and it works great! Many "Self Identified" recruiters out there think all they need is a computer and database and start searching for those "warm bodies". That is NOT recruiting. Hence the first step in this article "Developing a Relationship". I get calls from staffing agencies everyday and all they want to do is push a body on me that I have no clue about and they want me to pay them 20-30K? No deal!
