A group of Fortune 500 companies that includes Best Buy Co., Inc., Starbucks, and Wachovia Corporation have formed a consortium to share the resumes of their unsuccessful applicants.

Calling the consortium AllianceQ, the resumes of participating candidates will be matched to employment vacancies across the member organizations.

    John,
Thank you for covering AllianceQ but I wanted to clarify that companies are NOT sharing resumes (i.e., personal information)of unsuccessful candidates. The Members of AllianceQ simply offer their declined candidates an opportunity to be searched by fellow AllianceQ Members. Participation is 100% in the control of the candidate as is everything about using the QuietAgent tool.

Thanks again for mentioning our strategy!

    Phil Haynes
    Managing Director
    AllianceQ
