Social-networking-background-check Site Launches

An ERE Exclusive: a new site is launching this weekend for employers to automate their candidate research across a long list of social-networking sites. Spokeo isn’t new — but it was only recently that the company realized it could try to make money by selling its services to the recruiting world. As you’ll read about in your July print Journal, employment attorneys will tell you to tread with great caution with snoopin around online.

    Interesting article. However, there are unresolved issues about employers using these sites.
