		<description>Agreed Rob.  And of course the interview with a candidate who is already &quot;sold&quot; on the organization, culture, etc... is much better.  If your company really believes that the biggest asset is the employee, why not engage them to recruit their peers.</description>

		<description>Maybe recruitment leadership is all on holidays as when I read this great work by AmTrust Bank on taking it&#039;s referrals from 28% to 75% in just over 2 years without breaking the bank (so to speak) to achieve this, I am surprised there are not more people saying, unbelievable, kudos, tell me more, where can I buy one, etc.

Unfortunately I think in this day an age too many people seem to be focused on the silver bullet sourcing answer vs. going back to the basics. Clearly looking at what sometimes might not be cool web 2.0 ideas, but revisiting your referral program to see if it can produce more than it does and not settle for 30% as the source of hire, is the greatest form of creativity IMHO.
