'When I ask who the sales managers are for all the different U.S. territories and she wants to email the list...'

If inquiring as a customer/client, a competent gatekeeper would/should always ask which territory you're in so that she could direct you to the (1) right person.

Though there are exceptions, my work does not usually call for sourcing on a national scale for a single position because the nature of my searches are very specific and project (construction project/type/size) based. Also, I always try to source as locally as possible to avoid the risk inherent in relocation and usually can do so successfully.

That said, this must have been either a real good story or a rather gullible gatekeeper to achieve a list of all managers in all territories. I'm sure I'm not the only one curious about the technique or setup used.

I have added yet another prayer flag to my Tibetan-style shrine to Maureen. The neighbors are irritated by all the flapping noises comning from my roof, but I just don't care.

Thanks, Maureen. Keep it coming.
