Chris

No accidental omission. Everyone knows there is a career center, but they are becoming increasingly irrelevant in an electronic world.

Students are not owned or even exclusively represented by career centers. Students are adults that can be contacted and recruited without going through the career center.

Career centers generally try to make things 'equal' for all firms, where the goal of the article is to give an individual firm a distinct competitive advantage in recruiting the very best. (Note: I've been a professor for 30 years).

This provides an excellent resource. I am curious about one omission, though. Is the lack of mention of campus career services offices an intentional omission or merely an oversight? The omission also raises a concern as some of the suggestions could potentially lead to conflict with NACE's Principal's for Professional Conduct (http://www.naceweb.org/principles/default.htm) by enabling unfair recruiting practices to occur.
