On behalf of all the marketing/biz dev people, thank you for taking the time to learn about our job and understand that understanding can go a long way in securing talent, selling a product, or outright helping people succeed in their goals.

In sales/marketing, we encourage marketing people to go in the field (its like pulling teeth) so that a more realistic perspective can be generated. From the recruiting angle, now you understand not only the job you are recruiting for, but all the other things with it - understand your business and finding the right talent is easier.

I hope more people that I contact are as nice as you and take the time that you did.

Now, you are a better customer! Empathy, folks, goes a long way to building trusting relationships.
