		<description>Steve, I agree with almost all of your well written article except for one word. Under growth potential you talk about what opportunities the job provides to build new skills and capabilities. I would argue strongly that &#039;job&#039; be replaced with &#039;manager&#039;. Effective managers/leaders provide opportunities for their people to build skills and capabilities, regardless of what the actual &#039;job&#039; is, just as incompetent managers/leaders can quickly sabotage the skill and capability development of even their best people working in the most desirable jobs.</description>
