This article speaks to me in so many ways, but the section about developing talent seems off. I understand the need to develop talent in any organization, but is that really the responsibility of recruiting? Most organizations look to management/ trainers to develop their people. My organization does a pretty good job, thankfully, with developing top performers. The thing that is most frustrating to recruiters is losing good talent due to the lack of development my management. Any suggestions on correcting this from the recruiting desk? I'd love to hear some ideas.
