Steve,

Love your idea of a Social Networking Analyst. If we can have personal shoppers, we MUST have a Social Networking Analyst.

Watch monster.com for this new position. Heck, specialize now in Social Networking Analysts and get in on the ground floor!

You can read the original article at:
http://www.erexchange.com/a/d.asp?cid=9BB315F41F8445AEB2C5F091B9E81DD6

Post your own Article Review
http://www.erexchange.com/p/g.asp?d=M&cid=9BB315F41F8445AEB2C5F091B9E81DD6
Rob-

Yes, you can build a world-class network in 30 days or less but let's not forget how much work it really takes.

As a former I/T person and someone who worked in areas related to AI, I know that a network is just a physical structure comprised of nodes and pathways. Pathways will shrivel from lack of 'exercise.'

It wouldn't surprise me if larger companies such as yours create a position along the lines of a 'Social Networking Analyst' whose job it is to massage and exercise the social network.

Here's another message - Sure it can work but Social Networking is practically a full time job.

Incidentally, the first meeting of the New York Metro Area ERE User Group will feature a short talk by someone who has made it a personal mantra to create a world class network using LinkedIn and ecademy.

Very timely Rob. Thanks.

You can read the original article at:
http://www.erexchange.com/a/d.asp?cid=9BB315F41F8445AEB2C5F091B9E81DD6

Post your own Article Review
http://www.erexchange.com/p/g.asp?d=M&cid=9BB315F41F8445AEB2C5F091B9E81DD6
I thought this was a great article to remind us how to do the basics. I am one that believes we never have enough training and that re-training is a crucial step most of people miss. I really walked away from this article with a clear plan of execution and am excited to put it to work.
