Hello, Martin..

Sorry you did not like the style of the message. I use different styles to make different points.

Paraphrasing Mr Lincoln...You can please some of the people all of the time and all of the people some of the time, but you cannot please all of the people all of the time...

You can read the original article at:
http://www.erexchange.com/a/d.asp?cid=8530E6B659374607BF04F34B1EC04DA6

Post your own Article Review
http://www.erexchange.com/p/g.asp?d=M&cid=8530E6B659374607BF04F34B1EC04DA6
Hi Steve,

I was reviewing some style elements: word choice and such....I was not referring to the subject matter.

Best,

Martin-

'...it's not quite what one would expect in tone and content for an HR audience.'

Every other function has been made a leap of faith to measurement decades before HR - what are we waiting for? Divine intervention finally proclaiming all HR professionals strategic business partners with an ability to undertand probbality and statistics? Sorry - it just won't happen.

Whether it's becoming a solid end-to-end recruiter or just becoming a better interviewer, strategic measurement is one of the primary ways to achieve business salvation. If knowledge isn't power then why bother learning anything?

Either face it or dust off the Personnel badges that were mothballed years earlier...

[dang, it's great to be back!]

I enjoy Wendell's ideas and he has won me over for certain types of hiring, but I think this one could have used an edit; its not quite what one would expect in tone and content for an HR audience.
