		<description>Return of the Jedi ?

Companies that have been forced to reduce their hiring budget in the face of huge volumes of resumes are quite likely to get caught in the gray area between recession and recovery. As the levels of unfilled positions increase, so will the backlog of disenchanted employees jump ship. Those who have not planned for the resulting vicious cycle of increased search and retention costs will pay dearly.

Perhaps in Episode 4 &quot;ERP strikes back&quot;, the monolith Empire will finally be overcome by &#039;pay as you use&#039; utility based (recruiting, CRM etc) services that provide scaleable enterprise functionality, as well as scaleable cost of service. Forward-looking companies can afford to implement robust Talent Procurement Utilities now, and will stay ahead of the curve when the tide turns.
